Open... vs. Open from MS:/PSP/GAME...
Don't know if this question was answered but what's the difference between:

File > Open...

and

File > Open from MS:/PSP/GAME...

It seems to me like they are both the same, but if that's the case then why are they named different?

RE: Open... vs. Open from MS:/PSP/GAME...
That was rich lNeko27, really.
It does just what it says, it opens the path "ppsspp\memstick\PSP\GAME". You may have to add the "GAME" folder yourself before it works. It was most likely added, so you have a central place to store your games that PPSSPP always memorizes.

Android 4.4.2 (CM11): Samsung Galaxy S3 @ 4x1.6 Ghz CPU, 600Mhz GPU

Both of them do exactly the same.

RE: Open... vs. Open from MS:/PSP/GAME...
I did understand you very well. It opens the path "ppsspp\memstick\PSP\GAME", but since this path doesnt exist by default, it does the same as the normal open option.
If you create this "GAME" folder in "ppsspp\memstick\PSP", it opens that one every time you choose the option.
I hope that was clear enough. I dont want to add screenshots.

RE: Open... vs. Open from MS:/PSP/GAME...
Alright that made sense, there seems to be a bug with it though.

When i add that "GAME" folder inside "ppsspp\memstick\PSP" and i open from the option: "File > Open from MS:/PSP/GAME..." the game does load from "ppsspp\memstick\PSP\GAME", but if i press cancel and open from that same option it reverts back to the "recent opened games" (which is inside another folder) , in other words, it wont look inside "ppsspp\memstick\PSP\GAME" anymore.

Anyways thanks for the help mate.

Edit:

After more testing and tinkering with that "alternate open dialog" i really don't see any usefulness in it, the games will always open from the last opened folder anyways so is more of a pain to move your games folder into: "ppsspp\memstick\PSP\GAME" in every PPSSPP version, is a lot easier to just leave the folder somewhere else and not move it everytime you update to a new version.

RE: Open... vs. Open from MS:/PSP/GAME...
I'm not sure, but is it possible to make it so the extension .iso/.cso upon opening to boot up ppsspp and everything loaded without the need to adjust unless you open first the program to do that? I'm asking because my tab(allwinner a13)'s touchscreen is broken, and I have no way of going towards "Load" / "Config" buttons after I opened the app itself, I used keyevents with adb, but in this case tabbing or moving pad keys does not work, I believe it would be nice to directly launch any game after just tapping the game archives?
