RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Blank/space text input is already in OSK, just switch to japanese text and it has like 6 or soo empty signs which you can use. Would be nice to just press triangle or square for it through as those keys aren't used for anything there yet.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Thanks for the replies.
Hm...there are some blank spaces in the JP tab but i don't think those are actually spaces. In games like Mimana Iyar it doesn't seem to read it like space/blank. Maybe the JP characters are not getting properly shown because the computer's locale is not set in Japanese. |

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
The characters in the OSK don't use your system's fonts, so that's not the case.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Because they were designed that way:
Code: { As for why they were designed that way, the best guess I can come up with is so that it matches the other languages, which use 12 or 13 "characters" per row. I don't know enough about Japanese otherwise to explain why. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
There is a texture upscaler in ppsspp, but with the current upscaling filters the textures barely look any better. Even at maximum upscaling (5x), they still look cartoony and unrealistic. Here's me requesting a filter that adds noise or grain to the textures once upscaled. It doesn't seem hard to implement as there is a noise filter in just about every image editor, and it would add a ton of image quality to any emulated games.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Is it possible to add multithread support to windows x86 version of PPSSPP? I'm running it through wine 1.7.8 on OSX, is it a wine problem? Because as far as I can tell, whether you tick the Multithreaded box, it does not actually run on multiple threads.

RE: PPSSPP Feature Request Page
Will there ever be a chance that Sony's location free player will ever be added? There's a handful of us that have these base stations. The PSP's have this function, to have the streamed (live TV) content to the PSP.
