Better off replacing FXAA with SMAA, it's better

Oh and I would like to add Stereoscopic 3D support to that list

- Add multi-core processor support = I Refer you to the PCSX2 forums where a thread already exists detailing how difficult it is to multithread a tightly synched console
- Add FXAA and MSAA support - not required, already have the resolution multiplier and Simple 2xSSAA
- Add multiple save states support - Surely you mean multiple slots, the emulator already can save multiple states.

well,jpcsp can use both of the cores of a cpu.moreover,it can also use 4 cores at once.so i dont think that its impossible.

You are comparing an emulator written in a high level language and executed on a virtual machine to an emulator written in a language that that executes more closely to machine code.

most of that multithreading jpcsp uses is done so at the java level.

Multi-threading is difficult and that is the reason why it should be done as early as possible. If the project gets bigger, it would be more difficult to change the code.

SSAA is okay but it's expensive and currently it requires Buffered Rendering to be on in order to use it. In some games, we need to turn Buffered Rendering off and the SSAA will be disabled as well. I'm not sure about MSAA but I believe FXAA is faster and it shouldn't need Buffered Rendering.

Regarding multiple save states, I mean multiple slots.

I read somewhere else on these forums that the Multi-core will only be transferring the audio part of the emulator over to the second core, to reduce the extra work the CPU would otherwise have to endue.
And so will not make much difference, so one the developers said.

no one mentioned this before but


can someone add a feature which disables diagonal dpad touchcontrol
(eg. 'my boy' gameboy emulator for android has this option)

what i mean is that

for example

if im scrolling down an item list

i accidentally press down-left or down-right (the touch control is very sensitive)

by doing so rather then scrolling down as i intended

it goes to a different list(weapon list, armor list etc)


this may sound trivial but it gets quite fustrating later on

and very annoying if i have to press the right button in specific time in certain games



im sure adding this feature won't be that hard

because i heard that ppsspp in the beginning had the 4-ways dpad

and later added diagonal dpad turning it to 8-ways dpad


im not a dev so dont know how difficulty it will be
but anyway please do so
