Phantasy Star Portable 2

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
emmaus isn't it way more important to be able to see the missions areas and the enemys than to be able to see something that will not make the game harder in any way?

Btw I have one more question...what's the point of starting a new game(if there is actually any point)if:
1.On your old save you have access to every single story mission and you can replay it(you will also see the cut scenes)
2.If you start a new game and keep your old save, that new game save will have access to ALL of your items and equipments from the other save.

The only difference is that you can play with different race\looking character(other than human, all of the rest are missing something)

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
now,i dont know about the new game mattter.also i am not one of the devs,i just follow the changes they make to the emulator, and i have subscribe to the github issue for this problem,so i receive instant notification if a dev comment on that issue.now the dev working on this issue, thedax ,identified the bug and found a way to fix it.all his changes to the source code that have been merged do not produce any bugs, even if they do,he fixes it or reverts it immediately.so he wont merge his fix until he completely fixes it.if you want to try it,you can download the source, apply the fix, build and test it.

The only problem is,I can't compile ppsspp(I know about the guide on how to compile it but it requires a lot of free space and a have to install a lot of things just to be able to compile it).

If there is already compiled version with those fixes,I can try the game.

Btw I clear the game while using 0.9.1-1463 so how older can it be.

Anyone else have that version?

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
Just a friendly reminder about releasing custom builds to the public: you need to provide the source code, or a diff of what you changed if you want to provide builds, since PPSSPP is licensed under the GPL.

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
Well, to make a diff, just run the following in the root of the folder you checked the PPSSPP source code out in:

Code:
git diff > my-custom-code.patch

And it'll create a file that looks like this (as an example, it won't be exactly like this):
Code:
diff --git a/Core/HLE/scePsmf.cpp b/Core/HLE/scePsmf.cpp
index ff908ee..e6e39f8 100644
--- a/Core/HLE/scePsmf.cpp

Then you can just include that in the zip file along with the executable you compiled. Anyway, this is getting a bit off-topic.
