I've try this game recently. It appears to have some glitch. When i try to fight against the boss, the boss looks as if it was invisible and it only show up at certain times.

Wink RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
This is my first post here, so, Hello Guys! Hope we can get along well, that I can be of service anytime soon and that stuff that goes on between good people Big Grin

I'm having my PSp2 crash on me every time the movie for the tutorial boss wants to run (right after Emilia babbles things). The PPSSPP (0.9.6) says it crashed and needs to close, and I believe it's something I messed up in the configurations, since about first half of last year I was able to play way beyond it (actually not that much way beyond, but I could begin missions at the point).

Since I don't know how to bump the config file, I'll post whatever is on ppsspp.ini. My rom is the .iso of ULUS10529. And if this is the wrong place for that version, I'm terribly sorry, so if that's the case, please redirect.

Thanks in advance (for the help and the patience) Smile

Edit: I've found out that there was already a thread about this problem. There's the link: http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?...ortable+2.

And I've also confirmed that the error is not in the savestate. Happens at any game I begin, doesn't matter if I savestate or not. Is it apparently related to my version of PPSSPP?

Edit 2: Once again, nevermind me. I was using the 64bit version of PPSSPP, and that was the whole problem. Playing well and good in the 32bit version (except for the graphic bug of doom that haunts this game to no end). Took me a little longer than usual to find that out.

And just out of curiosity. I'm not well versed in the arts of emulator workings, but what does the software rendering do so different than the openGL rendering that gets no graphic glitch?
