RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
Will it be possible for someone to post a zip file or dropbox or something of their PPSSPP that's already set-up for phantasy star portable 2? (And yeah, I know it's a hassle, sorry 'bout that)

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
it doesn't need any special setttings.the problem might be from your system since the one who had the problem tried it on his phone and it worked.all builds of the same version are basically the same, except with some few changes to make it work on the os being ported.to see if it might be from your system, try an other version of ppsspp, especially the version release(like 0.9.6 or 0.9.5 not dev builds).if problem persists, try laying it on different pc with specs different from yours, like different vga or cpu.

I had 3 PSPs, and then they got stolen, lost, and bricked; in that order. May they rest in someone else's pocket.
-Duo Core 2.1GHz Intel Centrino
4GBs RAM/Windows 8 x64/Shared Video Memory Intel Family Chipset
-HTC One EVO Design 4G
-Nextbook 8' Duo Core 1.5GHz
1GB RAM/Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Thanks so much for the help!
My Signature hasn't been working lately, sorry.

Yeah, after looking at your sys info screenshot I'm inclined to blame the drivers of your Intel Integrated Graphics chipset for the issue.

Either that or the card isn't a good match at all for PPPSSPP with Windows 8 for this particular game with Buffered Rendering.

We've obtained reports of a few others who've had issues with their Integrated Cards after updating/reinstalling the OS from Windows 7 to Windows 8, which requires different drivers. This can be a bit iffy, especially on older Intel Integrated GFX chipsets that came with the Core/Core 2 CPUs. (pre the HD 2xxx/3xxx/4xxx era).

My advice to you would be to ensure you're on the latest mandated Intel drivers for your card from the Intel website.

Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz

I guess it may be that cause I noticed my PC is very unstable with things like DX10 because the drivers for my GFX taper off for Windows 7 OS. Thanks for all the help everyone, I conclude my own inquiries on PSP2 for now, until we can get into Unbuffered. ^_^

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
This bug just make the game more difficult...definitely not unplayable.
I clear the game with 197 hours of gameplay(good thing not all areas suffer from this problem)

Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1
i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM

Batch iso <=> cso converter

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2
the problem still exists.it is being worked on,the fault has been identified and a fix found, but applying it breaks other parts of the game, like making wall in your room and lobby transparent.until a fix is found for the bug that appears, the main fix cant be merged with the main branch.so please wait.
