RE: [Windows][v0.4][Intro] Evangelion Jo
according to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVszufJbRh4 it just needs these cheat codes/function patching :

_L 0×20277488 0×24020000
_L 0×20277490 0×24020000
_L 0×20277494 0×24020000
_L 0×20277498 0×24020000

the anti-pirate block just search into the ram, maybe for signatures or check firmware version.

EDIT (workaround) : someone on youtube says that just spamming x/o buttons after game starts works as well,i don't have the game so i can't try.
this is the comment : "..oh i just passed that problem. just press everything very quickly and it'll work.Like after u run the game, spam O button, then spam the X button after u picked the load thingy."

Cheat system is not implemented in PPSSPP, pressing O or X button did not the trick with PPSSPP, I'm not sure if this does even work on the real PSP. But thats no problem, PPSSPP will eventually work with the game (or the other way around) WinkTongue

RE: Evangelion Jo
it is working pretty well, mostlag wether video or audio are almost completly gone, but it keeps restarting after ending the first mission and getting a brief on the HQ, goes back to title screen. it did save my profress. but the reboot is very annoying. Android v0.9.7.2

RE: Evangelion Jo
Still restart when loading second mission. Can't continue. Tested on v0.9.8-1636-g6358cff winxp 32-bit

I checked the log:
Code:
24:56:468 user_main    I[HLE]: HLE\scePauth.cpp:37 scePauth_F7AA47F6(08c6a440, 00000df0, 0bffed80, 0bffed84)
24:56:468 user_main    I[COMMON]: FileUtil.cpp:248 CreateDir: directory X:\ppsspp-v0.9.8-1636\memstick/PAUTH
24:56:468 user_main    E[HLE]: HLE\scePauth.cpp:62 No decrypted file found! save as X:\ppsspp-v0.9.8-1636\memstick/PAUTH/pauth_5fb505c3.bin
24:56:484 user_main    I[IO]: HLE\sceIo.cpp:845 stdout: ERROR 0xffffffff

maybe related to kirk decryptor key https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/blob/...ePauth.cpp

is it possible to bypass using cheat code, if more simple than scePauth

RE: Evangelion Jo
This problem can't be bypassed via cheats nor other people savedata, it's not any "anti pirate" protection as confused above, but pauth encryption which can only be decrypted using PSP.

To get further into the game using emulator you need a PSP(in working condition) with CFW to decrypt game's pauth files, see here for a short guide, note those files can't be legally shared, so don't even ask.

Aside the pauth encryption, this game has a more serious problem - suffers from missing text in most menus making it impossible to properly emulate at this time.
