Gitaroo Man Lives!
Version: v0.7.6-272-g685e836
OS: WinXP
Game ID: ULUS10207
Status: ingame

Because of the obvious lack of sound the game isn't able to advance through cutscenes. You can skip the tutorial, but the game will stop (not freeze, you can still pause and go back to menu) during intro of the first stage.

Version: 0.7.6-547-g7d561eb
Status: Playable

Music and voices are finally present, so the game doesn't stop during cutscenes. Too bad the sound crashes and starts stuttering at the beginning of the first stage and in the middle of the tutorial. Stuttering doesn't stop even if you pause the emulator. Log doesn't show anything special.

Sound doesn't stutter anymore, seems to be working perfectly aside from a few graphical glitches (like transparency). I was able to start new game, complete the first level, save, load after restart and start the next level.

RE: Gitaroo Man Lives!
Version : 0.8.1-2-g0cfbde7
Status : 30fps hard skipping, audio stutters, game unplayable

What settings are you guys currently running at?

I have an AT&T S4 stock and the first level seems to run like shit. Everything is stuttering to the point where its basically unplayable for a rhythm game. Tutorial works great up until near the end, then it starts to stutter. The cutscenes look and sound great, but the first level is basically unplayable.

RE: Gitaroo Man Lives!
This game is fully playable with 0.9.5 builds, until Sanbone Trio stage. There it gets very very slow, so is useless trying to play the rest of the game once you reach that stage.

RE: Gitaroo Man Lives!
Probably just me, but on the 0.9.9.1 build, while the game is perfect (including online), for some reason the audio is suddenly glitched for when notes are played. Lots of noise and popping when notes are played. Don't know why.

I've tested the game on 0.9.8 and did not have those problems. So something must have went wrong with 0.9.9.1.

Gitaroo Man notes won't hold
I got Gitaroo man working on the latest version of PPSSPP, but whenever it's in attack mode and I press the circle button it only says "Good" at the top of the screen like I actually got the note, and the note then goes red. I've only tried changing the rendering settings so far and nothing's worked, I really want to play, please help.

When I play a level and then replay it, the notes seem to hold fine, it's just when it's being played for the first time
