yugioh tag force problem dont know where else to ask

so i recently downloaded the tag force games to play and i cant look at my deck everytime i press square it brings up the deck edit menu instead of changing tabs but on other menus it work fine (like deck recipe and partner select menu just cant change tabs in deck edit) am i doing something wrong or do i need to make it through the story to be able to edit my deck? im using a ps4 controller and have the controls mapped to regular psp controls and playing on a windows pc
