Having trouble with Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops

Hello! first time posting here. I'm having a bit of trouble and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue or potentially knows how to fix it. So I got it up and running a day or two ago and everything was running very well had the controls working the way I wanted it to and so on all of sudden now my game is starting to freeze or crash whenever I have to accept the radio calls from cambell specifically during side missions (Weapon procurement or prisoner extraction) making it impossible to progress. Has anyone encountered this?
