Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
The game runs fine on my Shield Tablet. 20/20 fps with no frame skipping all the time. Big Grin I may be early in the game though so I may have not gotten to the buggy parts reported here yet, but so far the game is pretty sweet.

use the hunter type control and changes in the controls of the triangle by x emulator keyboard or any other key that is not spent, give the key with a pencil as fast as you can. so I could go with a gamepad I could not pass this part you hope will be helpful:cool

For me this is not playable. Work but the max fps are 20. The game is always between 10-20. Unplayable.

If the game runs at low fps it's still considered playable. I never tried it on my android (galaxy s3) because I don't think it can handle it but it ran well on my laptop.

Recommended settings for Note 3
So, I'm playing Peace Walker on the PPSSPP on the Galaxy Note 3, and I noticed the frame rate is pretty choppy, and I figure there's got to be some settings available to make it run smooth, as the Note 3's specs are fantastic.

Anybody have a list of recommended settings? I'm on default settings, by the way.

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Merged. This game runs naturally at 20 FPS, so if you're getting 20/20 already, then that's as good as it gets for this game. Have you tried options such as frameskipping, enabling "disable slower effects", non-buffered rendering, or turning the emulated CPU clock speed down (under the System tab) to something like 100 or less (if you go too low, the game might get glitchy)? Mobile devices in general are still a bit weak to run every game without tweaking, so speedhacks are sometimes useful, and in fact, required. Just keep in mind hacks can affect your gameplay (visual glitches could happen, crashes could happen, etc.).

Very nicely emulated game on the PPSSPP but there's no way I could play something that's locked at 20FPS these days (I have a beefy system and I get typically a minimum of 60FPS for 99% of other games I play, emulated or not). Absolute minimum I can tolerate is about 25FPS (which is just over what motion pictures have used for the last 115 years or so). Wish there was a cheat or hack that got this game up to speed.

There is a 60 fps cheat that speeds up the game 3 times. Then I used the cheat and the alternative speed option( or smth like this) and it ran at 60 frames, but the sound was screwed up :-)

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Having some weird glitch with Multiplier. Other games always seem to run fine on WiFi but this game can never find someone. Something else that is odd is with Channel 6 in game. If someone is searching for a game on any channel THEN the host starts to host the game will show someone has joined the game and sometimes crashes the emulator. Any clues or ideas what might be the cause of this? Willing to help test if needed.

I wonder if it would be possible to slow down sound then. That would be awesome to play at 60fps yet audio works at 20fps so that it wouldn't be screwed up.
