I've got a joy pad that works with android just fine, tho It refuses to do anything inside ppsspp. Any suggestions on how to make it work or when it is likely to be supported? Huh

Use a mapping app for android. Mapping for the buttons here: http://ppssppbrasil.blogspot.com.br/2013...-para.html

Can anyone confirm if a wired xbox360 controller works in ppsspp for android (without rooting/mapping apps)?

I think it works. The mapping of PPSSPP is the same of Xbox Joystick.
