Android seems to perform better than PC
I was trying to play Patapon 3 on my PC (Nvidia 2060, Ryzen 3600) but the input lag is really messing up my beats in the game... (using keyboard) (bluetooth speakers)

So i tried it on my android phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro). Surprisingly, the beats are on cue for both onscreen controls and bluetooth controller.

Am I doing something wrong for the PC, or there's a focus more on mobile devices now?

RE: Android seems to perform better than PC
Many people complain about input lag of PPSSPP, that being said they never make it an platform specific issue and there's also the thing that most other people can play such rhytm based games just fine, so it's very possible it's something on some systems/hardware which makes that problem an actually bothersome issue.

Maybe you just don't have enough RGB lighting(;p).
You could also be using settings on pc that makes it much worse like cpu based texture scaling, which should NEVER be used in games that require smooth animations since it ruins frame time even when not affecting average fps.
Display also matters a lot, many people with even more powerful gaming pc's have awful monitors or tv's which could also be a huge factor:]. Same for driver hacks, many people think they're being smarter and abuse graphics drivers settings to enforce things over applications and this can be pretty awful actually.

Don't think BT speakers would be any factor as I use sony's BT headphones without any noticeable delays vs cable myself.

RE: Android seems to perform better than PC
Okay I did some further testing..... Bluetooth audio is definitely the culprit of why I couldnt get the timing right in patapon games...

Play audio via bluetooth on my phone (which was working perfectly before)... lag...

Play audio via cable on my PC (which was broken before)... works perfectly...

Perhaps different bluetooth devices have different latency/buffer rate... But on android version I even enabled that bluetooth friendly option but to no avail...

So I guess everything works nicely in PPSSPP except bluetooth (for me at least).

If you can share what you did to bluetooth settings to make it smooth, do let me know....

I'm on Windows 10, vanilla drivers didnt tweak anything at all.

Mine are also default ones, maybe it's about BT itself, my mobo had no support for it so I bought an extension card, I think it's gigabyte, not sure now, but it has double external antenna and supports latest BT5(through Sony's headphones are only using 4.1 or 4.2 anyway).
