RE: PPSSPP 1.8.0
I noticed that since 1.8.0 on Windows (7x64) there are now two 'security warnings' (on by default for downloaded files) in stead of one, as if the same executable (PPSSPPWindows64.exe, Gold) is ran twice quick in succession. Previous versions popped up just a single warning. Everything works fine and this could of course be intentional, but pointing it out just in case.

RE: PPSSPP 1.8.0
Yeah, it starts a background process to try to initialize Vulkan. Maybe there's some way to properly pass along the authorization to avoid the downloaded file warning, didn't think of that.

The reason it now does this is because some Vulkan drivers are terrible and will crash the entire app if it even asks whether Vulkan is usable. So we start a second copy of PPSSPP, and if it crashes, we know the answer is no. Before, PPSSPP would just crash with such drivers even if you didn't want to run Vulkan.

RE: PPSSPP 1.8.0
i've found a bug in the android version, both normal and gold ppsspp 1.8.0, i accidentally selected "set background ui" and backed out of it, the menu will display the portrait version but stretched to fit a landscape screen, sometimes it can only take up half the screen in landscape and touch only works on the left side of the screen, killing the app and restarting it will fix it and allow it to display correctly in landscape again

running on a galaxy S5 on android 6.01, can attach screenshots later if needed

RE: PPSSPP 1.8.0
I have a tvbox - Xiaomi Mibox S International with Android 8.1 TV OS - and the PPSSPP just worked great in previous versions. Installed through the TV OS Playstore, ran PPSSPP with default settings and I tested a lot of games, and kept those who ran well on an USB pendrive and never had any kind of issues loading and playing those games. Just some minor lag here or there on some ingame menu screen.

Problem:
- Since the last update everytime I open any game it justs pumps a black screen over the screen game. You can still hear the music and other normal game sounds as you press random gamepad buttons, so the game is running but image screen shows all black.
- When I press "Go Back" button - on xiaomi remote controller - which should bring me back to the PPSSPP menu, with all the save and load options and etc - the black screen remains there. But the "Go Back" command is executed because
- When I press "Exit" button - on xiaomi remote controller to bring me back to the tv box menu - for 1second I can see the normal PPSSPP screen, with the game running and so on, or the PPSSPP menu if I previously pressed the "Go back" button. When I re-open PPSSPP again I can see for 1second the normal emulator screen with the game running, but then comes back again the black screen after 1 second.

So I get stuck with that black screen and the only option left is to force the app to stop through the tv box settings apps.

Already tried some different settings configurations, but the problem stills the same so...
Please review and fix the issue Big Grin Thanks

RE: PPSSPP 1.8.0
trv369, any chance you can try some older builds from https://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php?m=fulllist and see where it broke?

Either way, I'm going to try to get my hands on one of these things for debugging, thank you for reporting.
