Mouse overriding keyboard problem

Hi everyone!

I came back to PPSSPP after i found that mouse support has been implemented. I'm trying to play Ace Combat X with my usual setup for flying games: i use the mouse for precise pitch and roll (Y and X axis respectively), while i bind the SPACE button for hard pitching upwards.

The problem is, that if i make any movement with the mouse, SPACE will no longer do anything until i let go of the mouse. Seems to me like the mouse input completely overrides the keyboard input.

Is there a way to change this to be the other way around? I dont want to change my way of control that i have mastered over years in many different games. Playing this game back then with only the keyboard was a chore and i can still feel the pain in my fingers.

Also, the mouse input seems like its not sensitive enough, even at the highest setting. Is it possible to increase it further?
