Mouse Scroll in Keybinds

I tried to bind my mouse scroll up/down to keys such as X or Triangle but it does not work in MHFU or Patapon 3. I already enabled mouse control and it seems to work in only in ppsspp menus but not in-game.
Can anyone confirm if theirs is working?

Actually mouse mapping never does anything in menus, but I guess the other way around might be doing something and possibly in-game mouse scroll get's overrided by UI or something else as indeed it doesn't work.
I probably never tested scroll when adding that feature as I usually break mouse scroll as the first thing in every mouse I had and quite likely had it broken in the mouse I used back then;p.
