Analog stick only moving 8 directions

Hello i just started using ppsspp 2 days ago and already installed gta vcs. It seems that the movement with the stick is only 8 directions (up,upleft,upright,down,downleft,downright, left and right) is there a setting to make my character move where the stick is exactly pointing? I am using a logitech controller which looks like a ps2 one

press mode button on ur controller

or analog if ur model have it

and if that does not work 1st make sure u have axises mapped in ur controls next to ur analog

if not u will need hit mode or analog on ur controller and then map it if that still does not help give me ur controller model

Just to note - many psp games using thumbstick, even if they use it in analog mode, typically limit it's use in it's own code to 8 directions since the real thumbstck was a tiny and inaccurate annoyance that broke a lot, so if a game simply works that way, the only thing that could change it would be by modding the game itself to use analog input properly.

thats why before posting i checked gta vcs and it works just fine in 360° u can even walk instead of running if push analog just a tinny bit
