Slow down on magic animation FF

On Final Fantasy I on Windows 10, I have suffered from sudden slow down when magic animation kicks in during battle. The framerate will drop from 60 fps to less than 30~20 fps during the animation. Tried fiddling many of the settings yet the problem persists.

On Android, this problem does not exist.

What are your specs/GPU?

Try changing the rendering method and backends, and lower the spline effects from high to low.
