[help] ppsspp keeps freezing on startup
whenever I startup ppsspp, the game freezes before telling me that emuthread had timed out. I am running this on a laptop with integrated graphics though they do support openGL 2.0. if anyone knows any tips, let me know

If PPSSPP itself runs, then yes you probably have enough OGL support, however drivers might be and especially with old integrated chips very often are - buggy.
So if you're on windows, best try to use d3d9 backend instead and if you're not, maybe just different driver and if neither of that works or even is available, best just forget about psp emulation on that hardware, PPSSPP is considered light, but PSP graphic emulation is very complex and it can't be simplified to run on every hardware out there that lies about including proper api support.

Another reason for crash when running the game could be non default settings as PPSSPP does still have few really awful settings breaking things for the sake of performance, althrough they get gradually being removed. Cheats/fan made patches etc. could easily cause problems as well, so if you changed anything, best try with default settings and without any mods first.

Could also be your game copy being broken/incomplete ~ that's unfortunately common problem, but really only due to piracy, it's almost never a case for legit users unless they make a backup using very outdated PSP with some ancient/broken firmware.
