Android,Mali T860; GPU is supposedly "compatible" with Vulkan but
I have researched that the Mali T860 should be compatible with Vulkan but I can't enable the options in the game, it just returns the option to Opengl. Is it because of the emulator? Do I have to update the phone? Somehow add the API to the phone? I tried researching how but everything I saw is about creating apps or some similar stuff.

The phone is an LG Stylus 3 M400DK. Octa-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and Mali-T860MP2.

You won't be able to use Vulkan if you're not in Android 7.0+ or if your driver version doesn't support it.-

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

First make sure you gave the app permission to access disk, otherwise config won't save. This is really annoying and I'm thinking of moving ppsspp.ini to app private storage to avoid this... If that doens't help reboot the device.

After that, if 1.5.4 starts up with OpenGL after you selected Vulkan without even warning, something is wrong.

Seems his phone starts on Android 7.0, according to the specs of the phone found here: https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_stylus_3-8492.php

Sad, even with a fully updated LG Stylus and PPSSPP, I can't access Vulkan. I was looking forward to playing MHP3rd HD portably without those pixels. Might be because of LG drivers. If only I can install the driver manually myself.

Oh, well. I will wait for the time where I can play using vulkan.

Are you sure your Stylus has a Mediatek processor and not the Snapdragon 435? If it has the 435, the adreno 505 isn't compatible with the Vulkan api and that would explain why the Vulkan option isn't working. To know for sure, you can use either the CPU-Z or AIDA64 apps to check.

What I saw is that I have a Mali T860 GPU Renderer and it has a OpenGL 3.2 ES driver.

Hmm, then this really is strange. Arm's website confirms that the T860 supports the vulkan api. Maybe Mediatek did something screwy with their chipset?

Or they just forgot to include the driver on the device, or decided not to to avoid having to test it... lazy manufacturers sometimes Tongue
