Which part of the game? Be specific man, you've been here for quite a while.

The intro audio plays smoothly, battle music plays smoothly. The game doesn't rely on atrac3+ to play its BGM, it had perfect audio even before the at3+ dll was implemented.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Yes, it had perfect audio for me as well for a while, however since video merge I have been testing how videos/cinematics work, I forgot to mention it's audio in cinematics sorry.

Opening cinematics in this game is when you start the game, and choose 5 answers

You should have perfect audio in that build.

State your platform and hardware please.

System Specs:
Intel i7 920 overclocked @ ~3.7 GHz
ATI Radeon HD 6990
Windows 7 x64

I use USB audio drivers for my headset--could this cause conflict? All the other audio works fine; it just wasn't playing during the video cutscenes.

Interesting.

Have you already enabled atrac3+ audio for your build by having the at3plusdecoder.dll file present in your PPSSPP folder?

Ah, I see what you mean now.

I tried starting a New Game again. After the bit with the 5 tarot cards and your choices, I let the introductory FMV play (the one featuring the producers of the game)

It did have audio for me though, although it was really stuttery and choppy. I'm also using the at3plusdecoder.dll file.

Tested using ppsspp-v0.7.6-1084-g403272c-windows-x86 with rig in sig.

RE: Tactics ogre : Let us cling together
I believe that as of version v0.7.6-1161-g2b4f3bf (The most current GIT build ATM, if I wrote that down wrong), this game goes to a black screen after the TAROT CARDS on ANDROID, but on not the WIndows 32 Build (Win32 seems to be playable)

Device: Samsung Nexus 10

RE: Tactics ogre : Let us cling together
Anyone else getting black text on the latest git-1239? Just getting black boxes over the text. Tried turning off a couple graphics things, but nothing worked.

Which text in particular is affected? The dialogue? Menu text?

I just retested it with ppsspp-v0.7.6-1248-g9e34513-windows-x86, and the text seems fine to me.

RE: Tactics ogre : Let us cling together
That's weird. Try disabling any texture scaling/filtering options? Mipmapping?

Woah, that is severe.

That screen is the name entry portion of the game, isn't it?

I assumed you've already messed around with the Buffered Rendering and Hardware Transform options of the emulator right?

For the record, this is what it looks like for my name entry screen, with a drop down menu showing my graphical settings:-

You shouldn't have it on anyway if you're running PPSSPP on Windows using a PC/Laptop etc. Tongue

Mipmapping and Frameskipping are basically crutches for mobile devices who haven't got the grunt to power through games lol.
