RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance
Best just restore all settings to defaults, most confusing or buggy settings mention problems in their names or in more recent ppsspp versions also print out information on the screen when activating them.

Random problems that can be passed by luck could be timing related, settings like:
- timer hack,
- multithreading,
- change emulated PSP's CPU clock,
- as well as fps patches/cheats.

Are most likely to cause such problems.

There's also I/O on thread->I/O timing method which changing could help some games, personally I would consider "Simulate UMD delays" the most proper / compatible, but it's not default as while it fixes some games it still was potentially breaking some others.

Either way even timing related problems will forever exist within savestates and a clean restart and reload from in-game save should not be avoided.

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance
Hi there. I'm having kind of a problem with the Mana Khemia's PSP version.

Everytime I win a boss fight, you're supposed to use the X button to skip it, but, for some reason, it doesn't work. Every other button it's fine, just the X button that I keep pressing and nothing happens. The game doesn't freeze, crashes or anything, it's just that issue with the button after boss fight.

I'm using the latest version of the OpenEmu app (2.0.6.1) and the PPSSPP version on it (1.4.2.1) on High Sierra 10.13.4 and I tried already downloading different roms from different websites, I'm only using in-game saving states and loading states and it keeps happening. I've tried the USA version, I've tried the Europe version, nothing works. I can't go on in the main story because of this :/

Is there a way to fix it? Thanks

Welcome to the forums. Here. Have a Warning. Because we dont discuss "downloaded" games.

Also. Many pirated ROMs can have hacks and such in them. So who knows what filth you are trying to play there.

Everything is Hitsuzen!

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance
Im not sure if this is still active but just in case people would search for the Lore Beast / Lorebeast bug..

After you kill it just press the X button faster until it goes to the cut scene.

Don't let it load to the part where the "You can now synthesize item: Flame" appears, that's where the bug seems to be.

RE: Mana Khemia Student Alliance
A save state before executing the final attack to kill it might be helpful to troubleshoot that bug.
