iPad 3 Problem

Rainbow iPad 3 Problem
Hi PPSSPP developers,
I’m an iPad3 user. I can force PPSSPP to work fullscreen by using a plugin named FullForce, in order to make full use of the Retinha screen. When the option “Buffered Rendering” is off, the 3D part of the game will be very clear –the edge is neither fuzzy nor serrate. However, there remains one problem. Some games (for example, Hatsune Miku Project DIVA 2 and Extend) are forced to display in 4:3 mode, leading to a “thin” performance. It would never be better if you can put forward a method to force PPSSPP to work in 16:9 mode.
Thank you!
A sincere PPSSPP user

RE: iPad 3 Problem
Hmm. I thought it did always run in 16:9?

Have you tried a recent git build? It should have a fix that makes PPSSPP run fullscreen without any fancy plugins.

The new version 0.7-424 really doesn't rely on FullForce. However, DIVA 2 still work on 4:3 mode.

RE: iPad 3 Problem
Hmm, that's strange. Do you happen to have an iPhone or iPod Touch? If so, does it do the same there?

Actually, a screenshot would really help since I'm not sure I even understand what you mean exactly. Is it letterboxed or something?

RE: iPad 3 Problem
The ipad has 4:3 screen ratio so the only solution would be to somehow configure fullforce to display those black lines over and below the screen to achieve 16:9 or have ppsspp inbuilt option although i think it's too complicated

RE: iPad 3 Problem
Oh, so the problem is that it stretches to the display. Does this only happen with buffered rendering off (which is expected), or with it on also?

RE: iPad 3 Problem
I thought I changed it so that aspect ratio works correctly even without buffered rendering?

Only with br off. But you know, the display is not clear with br on.
