Random PPSSPP crashes

I'm trying to play a couple PSP games with a friend, but he keeps crashing constantly. He usually doesn't even make it into a game, the emulator keeps crashing in the main menu. We've tried changing around the settings and running in admin mode to no avail.

I can probably get his system information if you need it, just ask.

Info would help. The emulator should not simply crash all the time.
