WiiU Pro controller/Mayflash adapter problem

I'm running on a Nvidia Shield TV & although the WiiU Pro works great in all the games I've tried so far on PPSSPP, getting in game or changing settings etc is easier said than done as the cursor moves way too fast when I'm in the menu and the sticks don't work either, just the Dpad.. any help would be much appreciated as I often quit before I play anything as it's too much of a headache trying to control the cursor.

try pressing home button maybe it switches from digital to analog mode
