Analogue Joystick-Mode of NES30 Pro (8Bitdo) not working on PPSSPP 1.3 (MacOS)

The analogue joystick mode of the NES30 Pro is not recognized at all, almost if no controller is connected at all. Keyboard-mode of the same controller is working fine - but then the analogue joysticks are not analogue anymore. Latest firmware 1.72 installed on the device, connected via bluetooth or USB (both not recognized). Can there be something done about that?

Thank you for your advice but I'm using MacOS X - a Windows program does not work here.
