X, O, [], and Triangle to do different attacks

R to do a Special Attack (while the orange bar is filled) and R+arrow in direction of your opponent to do the second special move

Combos I've found include down, down, attack; down, forward, attack; and down, backward attack. Those apply to all characters, but each character has unique combos, like Tsuna's back+triangle. (The longer you hold triangle the stronger it is.) So I'd suggest going into training mode and experimenting.
