Cheat file not found
I reinstalled PPSSPP after deleting it a while back. I'm using PPSSPP gold 1.3.0.1. However, even if I enabled cheats, the cheat file is not found in /PSP. What do I do?

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=12513 or http://www.x360ce.com |

RE: Cheat file not found
I tried downloading the 1.2.2.0 version and enabled cheats, but the cheat file still won't show up at /PSP.

RE: Cheat file not found
PPSSPP doesn't come with any "cheat file".
Our cheat engine merely creates an empty ini file when you run the game with cheat feature activated or when you open cheat menu(from either pause or game screen) whichever happens first. That file would be stored inside "\PSP\Cheats" (among many other folders for savedata, savestates etc.) on memstick and get a name from game ID or in case of homebrew stored in GAME folder it would have a name of the folder instead. If the ini file is not created, it's possible PPSSPP does not have priviledges to use it's folders, I recall such problem was most common for iOS users since at least in the past they used some weird ways to copy stuff on their devices, but this could happen on any OS. You might also be checking wrong folder to begin with, for example on android there's no memstick folder, but instead PSP folder is located on sd card(which name can differ per device). Or even you might be assuming cheat file was not found due to no cheats displayed in cheat menu, but that would be normal since PPSSPP does NOT come with any cheats. You have to look those on our forums or anywhere else in the net with small warning that many simple cheats made for psp will not be compatible due to emulation not being perfect and causing some even perfectly playable games to run differently;p. Also note on any popular "non-mobile" platform(ie windows/linux etc) which comes with standard text editor, ppsspp would also have an option inside cheat menu called "Edit cheat file" which using would open the cheat file without having to search for it;p. The guide in cheat support thread might not be mentioning it since it's quite outdated. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Cheat file not found
I apologize. I do mean that the .ini file has not been created inside the /PSP/CHEATS folder even if I enabled cheats. I am pretty sure that I already gave the app permission to access my storage, and I also know that I am checking the right folder, since last August I've used this app and I was able to use cheats.
Can I download the .ini file from somewhere? |

Well, I downloaded PPSSPP to my other phone, but I still got the same result. There is no .ini file and cheat folder in /PSP.
