RE: LittleBigPlanet
Yeah, screen tearing is a pain, but the game is absolutely gorgeous in full screen with AA otherwise Big Grin. I'm having a problem, though - the game doesn't seem to be recognizing that there's a memstick, and its not letting me save. Anybody else experiencing this?

RE: LittleBigPlanet
Awesome That this game works on PPSSPP Big Grin.

I also got thru level 3 in the US version (UCUS-98744) Tongue.
Here's a save state for v0.7.5-32-gea11c36-windows-x86. I don't know if it will work on any other systems. (the save state does work up to version 66 but when you load a level it gets blocked with some crap about mscard data corrupted)
http://depositfiles.com/files/4jrqh2tio
(it got deleted lol this should be legal Huh )

Might be possible on the UCES version as well using the method below.

To beat it yourself this is what you have to do. Currently
  • Use Cheat engine to locate the global game speed value (value=15624).
    1. The range for the value is 16000(flying thru floors)-15624(Normal)- <14000(stopped)
    2. The speed is directly linked to the gravity. So the slower you go the higher you jump.
  • Turn off media engine (gets rid of all the missing audio errors and is necessary to bypass the early sound that crashes the game(damn spiders) it will still crash occasionally on this level still )
  • Slow speed down to ~15200, and try to bypass as much stuff as you make your way through the level.
  • profit!!!?

But please don't move the thread till this issue is fixed as this is just a hack Tongue.

RE: LittleBigPlanet
Heh, nice, try to do exactly the same with Tekken 6, I was trying to do something simmilar with no success. Well, eventualy it will crash on an other level/part that has the same issue so it's just worth understand what causes it.

RE: LittleBigPlanet
Well I think it has something to do with audio. because the break happens at about the same horizontal location with media engine on.(I tried in the skies and on the floor which has a great texture don't know why they don't use it.)

And by slowing it down if it does decode some of the audio differently like [Unknown] says than this might be why it breaks as it just hasn't finished decoding the file. But this is all speculation.
(04-01-2013 11:57 PM)[Unknown] Wrote:  LittleBigPlanet actually uses the Bink video codec (on the CPU) to decode the video itself and play it. Same with the audio. So it works great.

Also take a look at how I referenced the memory location in the cheat engine table, There is no recalculating address every time you load it Big Grin for the specified version of PPSSPP.

This should become mandatory to PPSSPP releases tbh.

Any progress on the memory card error, or am I the only one getting it? It looks like this:
