Time Machine Backup, where are the saves?

Hello! This is actually going to be my first post here. I actually need some help because my mac laptop was factory reset recently and so all the data has been wiped from it. However, I have a backup saved onto a time machine that should let me recover the save files I lost on the emulator. The BAD thing is that I have no idea where the save files are and I can't simply backup my computer completely because apparently something in the backup is so incompatible with my mac that it won't start if I do that.
I apologize for this but I SERIOUSLY don't feel like playing through half of Persona 3 and like nearly all of my other games again.
