1nd Controller stops working when the 2nd ist plugged in.
Hey everyone,

I've been trying to get PPSSPP working with my 2 gamepads. Wireless 360 and wireless rumblepad 2 by logitech. When just the rumblepad 2 is plugged in it seems to be working fine with PPSSPP, but when I start my 360 gamepad, PPSSPP only recognizes the xbox pad. The Rumblepad 2 deosnt get recognized when the Xbox pad is powered on (not even when selecting it in the controller options in windows).
The windows options show that both controller are working fine.

Any Ideas how I can fix this?

i dont have a fix for you but i have a work around

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

Thx for the fast reply.
I already tried mapping the controller with Xpadder. But this way the movement is locked in 8 directions which makes me crazy. It's not like the usual 360 degree movement with the thumbstick of the controller. I hope u understand what i'm trying to say :o

I've read something about Xinput and DirectInput. That some programms are not able to use both at the same time. Might that be the problem?

Or is PPSSPP just compatible with 1 Controller?

RE: 1nd Controller stops working when the 2nd ist plugged in.
what you mean is digital mode (8 directions) and analog mode (360°) but truth is that that i prefer using antimicro or xpadder rather than any emulator built in controller support
and well i just did run a check on both of them at a same time they work

http://imgur.com/a/T7aYE

as you see here i was able to register 1 of each button from pad 1 and pad 2
so everything seems fine with ppsspp

and so there is another work around you can try

http://www.x360ce.com

problem is i never did try that program but my cousin did and he explained to me it works like this
when u have PC game that support only xbox 360 controller and/or ur controller is like some WTF company product and ur game dont see it
you use x360ce to create a profile for your controller (pretty much same as you do with xpadder or antimicro) and then it creates profile file which you place in your game folder
(its important to create corresponding bit version 32 or 64) and now for that game your controller will be recognized as xbox 360 controller

here u just need to put that profile file in ppsspp folder (MAIN FOLDER where you see ppsspp.exe)
THERE IS NOTHING TO DESTROY HERE
so dont be afraid you just generate 1 file with 1 program and put it in to folder in to another program nothing can go wrong

there is tons of tutorials on youtube how to use x360ce i never used it so i cant help you with configurating it but as i just downloaded it and run it its pretty much straightforward
nothing hard there to understand only problem is will it work with ppsspp but well it should

if it will then for ppsspp you will just have 2 xbox 360 controllers plugged in

----------------------------------------------------
Edited stuff below

ok ok i did find out how to configure that s#!t
launch it and there will pop up some windows do not even read what they say cause u dont care
just press ok next or whatever to confirm to go further and on the end you press finish (it can take time to process s#!t so you will need to wait)
look at this picture

from now on you just

1 - click auto which is in buttom center of the window and press ok to confirm
2 - click any button on each gamepad to know which is 1 and which is 2
3 - make sure you are at tab of that gamepad which you wanna fix (tabs are on top of the windows just choose 1 or 2)
4 - when you selected right one click save click ok
5 - close program
6 - in x360ce folder where is exe file u launched that program now there will be 2 files x360ce.ini and xinput1_3.dll just copy them to ppsspp main folder
7 - enjoy
