RE: PPSSPP iOS Port
Thanks for trying to fix this issue guys! Are there any instructions on how to compile the iOS version?

Anyway it seems to kinda work. Still really slow. Someone else can make a build/upload it after https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/985 is merged. May likely have more issues.

great updated cydia package with jit support, that's one thing off the list, also built universal for ipad users
and it's not slow most games go to menu full speed without frameskip on my 4s

RE: PPSSPP iOS Port
Just downloaded 7.0a from your repo and JIT still crashes. Im using an iPad 4 if that makes any difference. I will test on my 4S and see if it works on that.

EDIT: Looks like fast mem is causing the crash, disabling it let me use jit.
EDIT 2: Holy crap games run well. On my ipad 4 every game I have tested runs at a solid 60fps.

RE: PPSSPP iOS Port
Try to disable buffered rendering and/or fastmem.

RE: PPSSPP iOS Port
I tested Wipeout Pure, and sound doesnt work for me either. I usually have it disabled anyway because sound emulation is still pretty rough right now.

It's impossible that Wipeout Pure runs at 60fps, maybe with frameskip. Wink
If I remember well it runs at 20-25 fps on nexus 4.

Yep it runs 60fps with frameskip, 30fps without. (thats while using screen recording software too)

I made a video demonstrating it:

Wow!! I have crisis core working at 55 fps on iPhone 5! Great job guys! If you get fast mem working I think it will give me the extra 5fps! Fantastic job!

Disable sound emulation (its still using the cpu even though you cnt hear anything so its best to just disable it)

Disable buffer rendering (fixes glitches and gives a huge fps boost)

Enable JIT (duh Tongue)

Enable frame skip.

Thats what I did to get 60fps

still nothing can you test on your 4s to see if its just me or if it slow on these devices

Yep spot on! That's the setting I have, also turn vertex on (think that's what it's called) frame skip is enabled still a little jittery but very playable!

Oh...do eboots work on this emulator? Would be great if they do...then I can play a few psx games without using zodttds outdated psx4all emulator
