RE: Dai-2-Ji SUPER ROBOT TAIZEN Z
Have you updated your gpu drivers? It could always help. Anyway, you can play with different settings, for example texture scaling help a bit on the graphic counterpart.

Since English is not my first language sorry for some misspelling on my posts

Right, it depends on the pc performance as well. Actually i'm playing and there's not a single graphical issue.
You can try latest builds too.

Yes, I have the latest drivers for my system installed Sad and I also tried to change texture scaling, but it didn't help.

Well, it's not really a graphical issue. It just look a little better with Non-buffered Rendering. Here's an example.

Non-buffered:

Buffered:

I can keep Non-buffered during most of the game and then switch to Buffered when I want to see a particular animation, it's not a big problem.

Seems better with non-buffered. Also, since it's not a big problem as you said, that's a good idea to switch the mode occasionally. But i don't see any difference between buffered and non-buffered mode on my system. Except buffered rendering more blurry like your screenshot. Other than that, animations are fine on both mode. Hopefully that helped Smile

There seems to be audio crackling in multiple games from what I can tell. I think we just have to wait for an update that fixes it.

Is there a way to change this thread name?

RE: Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Z
Speaking of SRW, i was replaying it the other week, and noticed that sometimes the wrong kanji or kana is rendered, and is switched to the correct one after a few seconds. Sometimes entire sentences are switched. This happened before, but on recent revisions it happens much more often, and more noticeable.
I had similar experience with SD Gundam World on Wii, which is fixed by setting Texture Accuracy in Dolphin to "Safe" instead of "Fast". Trying to switch a few textures options in PPSSPP on and off didnt improve the matter.

RE: Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Z
I guess that's texture cache limitation, happens in more games. Unfortunately smaller similar textures as some fonts can end up being seen as same and improperly replacing each other for a while, guess we have to thanks low psp res and kanji complexity for that. If you use those newly added speedup options like "lazy texture caching" or "retain cached textures", it could be more visible than it was before.

Unfortunately texture cache is one of those important things that make very heavy things much less demanding so it might never be fixed fully, unless as an optional thing. I have no clue how it really works in ppsspp, maybe making it accurate enough for all those minor font problems could be as heavy as not caching textures at all. Most likely it would end up useless for mobiles and weaker pc's.

Try turning lazy texture caching off. You didn't mention which exact options you changed, so yeah. Tongue

That's usually the culprit for this sort of issue.

I have a problem, whenever I use Shin getter/Ryoma the game would freeze up and pop up a message saying "Wait for Emu Thread timed out", does anybody know about this. I'm playing hakai-hen chapter of the game.
