@weeeeee if you got the pauth files from this thread they're not complete, they were made before adhoc was functional and have 13 out of 18(?) files. If you turn on log, you'll see a new pauth file was created in the place you got that freeze. You have to use the tools posted here to decrypt that file on PSP and copy back the .decrypted file to your pauth folder, repeat with every next freeze or missing graphics(should be around 5 left in total).

got it, the only problem is how we decrypt those files on psp? I would like to
decrypt them and upload those files so that we can enjoy play multiplayer on Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. (I guess when those files can be decrypted, it would be beneficial to them who got heavy lag when running MHP3rd HD in their system because we can directly play MHP3rd instead of MHP3rd HD)

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
I linked an github commit in my previous post which has the tools to download. You just have to extract it, put both folders on your memstick and copy all encrypted files(*.bin and *.key) from pauth folder in ppsspp to pauth folder on your psp memstick, then run the pauth file decrypter. You'll get 1 new file for each bin and key pair with .decrypted extenshion and those are the files everyone needs to play on ppsspp.

To get those encrypted files on ppsspp in the first place, you have to get to the point in game where they are used, soo basically experience all freezes and missing graphics. So basically if online freezes, it'll generate 1 file bin and 1 key file which has to be decrypted, then you can use that decrypted file to pass this freeze and continue for another(freeze/crash or missing graphics), opening the ppsspp log will be helpful since it'll show exactly which file was written to disc.
Oh and I was blind last time, didn't notice Tpunix saying on github that there are 17 files in total, so basically only 4 are missing.

Thanks LunaMoo, I had already tested it, and it works like a charm Big Grin
Obviously the ppsspp only need 2 more *.decrypted files to run MHP3rd multiplayer mode.

@betrayedAngel:
There IS a health hack for 3rd? Whenever I google for it all I can find is people saying that type of code isn't ported yet and the one for the "unHD" version doesn't work. Could you PM me the code or post it here? Would be great!

Start the game and PPSSPP crashes every time. I've tweaked all possible settings (most games have glitchy audio but I play anyway) and nothing changes.
Not sure where to get any kind of logs to post. I load game and it crashes...

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
@Talia should have start looking from this forum ^^, I modified HP display code to work on ppsspp which you can find here for MHp3rd, I also ported it just recently to MHp3rd HD.

If you mean that the game doesn't even boot as it would point by the forum you posted it in, then your game files must be corrupted, since the game does work fine and already has it's thread in here. The game has no official US version, so if you used some kind of english patch, you could have applied it incorrectly breaking the game in the process.

If by load game you ment load a save from game menu, then you really should have use search option to find this thread and check it before posting;p. This game does use some encrypted files which cannot be decrypted by any emulator or pc program and the only way to run it, is by decrypting those files on actual psp. I described the whole procedure just recently in this post, you can also see betrayedAngel's post just below with screenshot from the game working fine after doing it.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
I've stripped out all of the links to the PAUTH files from the thread, as we're no longer allowed to share these copyrighted files on the forum. If you still need the PAUTH files, you'll have to dump them from your copy of the game on a real PSP, or find them otherwise on your own. So please don't link to them anymore in this thread.
