Game works fine and is 100% playable. In latest version first animation works also ;-)

I use latest TMO patch (not public version!)

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
3rd, not 3rd HD. 3rd doesn't work without "decrypting data" according to Mattweb.

Save from 3rdHD work on 3rd in PSP (use method conwert save from jap to eng)

OK, save works from HD to PSP, but I have some problems with this game Undecided This is happend on latest build :-(

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Apparently encryption on files affects both that the game doesn't work as well as some images doesn't display so it just confirms ppsspp will need to implement that scePauth mentioned few times in this thread even with link to the cfw code that has it.

Have no clue how Mattweb did it, but mhtools can decrypt alot of stuff from data.bin of MH series and then create a patch for iso, if someone is really desperate and either have idea which files need to be changed or at least is good at writing batch files(to avoid going through over 5k files manually;O) he could try doing it. With some luck it could work, but since nobody know what needs to be decrypted, if the game will actually work with decrypted files without hacking elf nor even if mhtools decryption actually does the job here, it might as well turn into waste of time.

BTW

Thanks for leaking the info TMO still works over that english patch^_^.
Edit to post below:
I'll seriously leave releasing improved patches only to friends or keeping to self without a comment since apparently translation scene has a darkside I wasn't aware of lol.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
As quoted multiple times..

Quote:3Q. Why does this version work and not the PSP version?
3A. Because of this(read post #18): The PS3/HD version doesn't use scePauth, and thus can run.

http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4172

Missing encryption stuff. Nobody will tell us how to implement it, so it'll never run.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
I have add some pauth support. If game load a pauth file, the content will be save. the content then can be decrypt on a real PSP.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
This can be moved to Playable now. I wonder if this game works better on Android than the HD version?
