RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Hello everybody,

ive got an HTC One and the newest version of PPSSPP 0,81. My goal is to play Monster Hunter Portable 3rd psp version. I cannot understand the japan language at all. I am a native German speaker, consequently I installed the Vuze German patch to my .iso. Now when loading the .iso file with the PPSSPP-Android-App the message "Failed to load executable: File corrupt" appears. Is there any possebility to play this game at my smartphone?

yours, fussballdrewitz

No, it'll never run at this point in time.

Play 3rd HD instead.

That's because at the moment the emu can't decrypt the eboot.bin, to bypass that you need to decrypt it with your own psp or ppsspp through iso tool. Even so you can't get past the character creation screen due to scePauth function not being implemented. As daxtsu said, you can use the 3rd HD version (since it doesn't call that function).

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
I know this game. the data protect by scePauth is just a picture, show "mission complete" at end of missions.
This picture also have a plain version in data.bin. we can make a hack, let scePaurh return plain data.

This is a nice idea! It can be a nice workaround Big Grin. I wonder how difficult is to make it though.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
The normal Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is not yet compatible with PPSSPP due to a function not implemented yet, instead if you own a PS3 you can dump and run on the emu the remastered version (aka Monster Hunter Portable 3rdHD) which does work.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
It's done so for months, but it'll never be in-game at this point without Mattweb telling us how to "decrypt data".

The HD version doesn't use this encryption.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Not that it matters since the game doesn't work anyway, but this game's intro movies should play now as of v0.9.1-1031-g3f6e7f6.
