The game works with decrypted data though (It was decrypted on PSP):

Also, you mean the data.bin on the ISO need to be decrypted, right?

Nope, as solarmystic said, the file which needs to be decrypted is EBOOT.BIN Smile

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
There's more to it than just decrypting an eboot. There has to be. If it was that easy, the game would be working right now.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Hello, I've got a problem with '' Monster Hunter Portable 3rd '' on PC and for sure on android (Haven't tried on android but I think it will cause a lot of games are working on the pc but not on the android).
It say '' Error Loading File ''
'' Failed to load executable: File Corrupt ''

I've tried my own (original version) and I also tried a patched version (English Version)

But it's always saying that and it seems I am the only one having this problem cause I've read a few threads about this game and their problem is that after the character creation it won't work or something like that, but I got a totally different problem, Could anyone help me please?

(Sorry if it's not the good category, I thought this one would be the best for this thread).

Game already has a thread here. It's in menus currently if you decrypt the eboot.bin. As I've said like 3 times now, it doesn't work because of a missing encryption function called scePauth_9something. Some guy named mattweb claims to have it working, but he wouldn't share how(aside from he decrypted "data", whatever that means), so for now, it's still at this status.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd

Not likely in the near future. Even JPCSP doesn't have it implemented yet.

However, if you have the HD version(MH 3rd HD VER), it'll likely be supported officially soon, once I get the support implemented(though the credit should go to BlackDaemon since he experimented with it first), along with the other 4 HD remasters(K-On!, and others).

If you have the game, you can rip the files from your PC if you have a bluray drive, I believe.
