You need to dump the PAUTH files from the game with a PSP to play this game. It uses a weird encryption that the emulator itself doesn't have the keys for, so until we get them, if ever, it'll require a real PSP to decrypt them. We used to be able to link to the files, but Henrik himself asked that we not share them here, so the policy changed a while back.

I've tried to play it, and I actually can. However, to control the character with the keyboard controls is a pain, how you people play it? (with a remote, with the keyboard?...)

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
The problem is that your way of finding PAUTH files is illegal...

PAUTH files are part of MHP3rd, therefore these are copyrighted files.
It means that the only thing which is allowed is to dump them from your own .iso file.

TheDax have already deleted some links to PAUTH files as you can see in his post...

So, shall I delete this post then? Or post a disclaimer of this being illegal and "do at your own risk"? As someone that had a lot of trouble getting this to run, and wanting to play the sequel of a game I legally own that isn't available in the US (MHFU). Let me know what follows

Unfortunately I think you should delete your post Undecided

The proper procedure to get PAUTH files has been described by LunaMoo in the following post >> http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?...0#pid80260 Smile
