What's you PC specs, bro? I can run at 100% no problem at default settings. Just can't fast forward the game like I do with others, tho.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
If I recall, software skinning is ON by default from some time and it's somewhat slow for MH games, maybe try turning it off under graphics->performance settings.(can be switched only when no game is running)

Just to clarify. What I meant was, I can run it fine with the recommended settings for most games. Like, frameskipping, amongst other things. I basically use just one setting for all of my games except in some special cases (which is only 5 or so).

Rainbow RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Oh, I should have mentioned that I didn't run it on PC, but on iOS. I tried the software skinning method anyways, but that didn't really do anything.

I turned on the FPS + Speed counter and it stays around 15/30 (with a number less than 50.0%) constantly. Seems as if the game is running in slow motion or half speed, but I'm glad that I can at least see what's going on.
Also, once the game is started with the opening intro (a little choppy here and there, but it's just an intro :/ ) + the Press Start menu screen and character selection, it runs perfectly fine there at 30 FPS. It's after the Now Loading... screen where it seems like game performance is cut in half. Tried both builds 0.9.8 and 0.9.7

edit: Weird. During a quest, FPS is around 20+. I suspect it lags in the village because of all that detail in that area..

Oh. Well, sad to say, I can't do anything to help cause I only own a PC and an android. If I remember it right, I think I read that there's still some problems regarding the iOS so the only solution (for now) for you is to just play it on a computer. With my android tho', works just as fine with my PC.

Yeah, it was playable several months before the regular PSP version was. Smile

Anyhow, that's off-topic for this thread, so if you need more info, you can head over to the MHP 3rd HD thread.
