RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
Oh, if you're playing using Direct3D 9, I think there is currently no solution. It's a bug, but it's a complicated bug because Direct3D 9 uses half-pixel offsets and there's all these little annoying places to account for it.

Was playing ff4 ok then started crashing
Been playing ff4 conplete for a month now.

Today after starting playing, everytime I load a state or that I "zone" into a new room, ppsspp crashes. Without logs (I created folder USER/Logs in main ppsspp folder but never had a log file in there)

I will post other info on demand, but nothing changed on my pc in beetween the restart

I updated ppsspp, was already at latest version.

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
I had posted out of game because I didnt think it was related to this game specifically.

The game was so stable, and allowed the same actions before, but out of nowhere I cant load states or "zone change" in game

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
No... I zone in shops. One step in is ok, the second always freezes/exits ppsspp

I dont get why it would stop being stable so far in Sad

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
In that case, can you share your regular game savedata as a zip?

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
Hey, I'm getting pretty poor performance for this game on android. (latest version from play store, v1.1.1)

I have tried different settings (and default ones), but I'm still getting like 30, 40 fps with horrible audio in game. Seems like the issue gets worse when dialogue boxes are on screen. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
So what's the status on this?

I tried using buffered rending and non-buffered rendering and there are still those weird lines (that are only resolved, apparently, after setting frameskipping to 2 but that makes the game almost unplayable) and the game doesn't feel smooth.

Any solution?

WOW! I just want to say thanks! I just turned the Spline/Bezier curves to Medium from High just like you said, and I FINALLY got past the Mist Dragon for the 1st time. I'm looking forward to the rest of the game finally now! Thanks again!

RE: Final Fantasy IV : The complete collection
Hello, I'm having an issue with PPSSPP crashing while playing FFIV.

I've just got the Baron Key and unlocked the Weapon/Armor Shop. There is a hidden path in the bottom right corner that loops around to the "top" of the shop (to the top of the screen, where you get Zeus's Wrath). The crash occurs when I'm about 1/3-1/2 of the way through the path. The game freezes and the screen becomes distorted then goes black and I have to ctrl+alt+del (with full screen and buffered rendering both ON; with either option OFF, the game still freezes/crashes but the screen does not distort before going black and still have to use ctrl+alt+del).

PC Specs
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz (9-9-9-24)
MoBo: ASUSTeK Computer INC. M5A78L-M LX PLUS (AM3R2)
GPU: 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (ATI AIB)
HDD: 932GB Western Digital WDC WD1002FAEX-00Z3A0 ATA Device (SATA)

Using PPSSPP v1.1.1

EDIT: Rolled back to PPSSPP v0.9.9.1 (the version I was using before updating to 1.1.1) and the crash no longer happens.
