Battery consumption on android
Is it just me or lately PPSSPP this consuming a lot of battery? Well, I'm also thinking it's my new ROM. I played a few minutes in the emulator (about 5 minutes) and came in second PPSSPP applications that consume more battery, second only to the screen so mobile. In five minutes consumed approximately 5% or more of battery. Someone there with this same problem?
I use the 4.0.4 ROM, I'm from Brazil but it is international, the ROMs from Brazil end in ZTO, XEU on this, I think is English. I'm finding that my battery is going away very fast, faster than my old ROM.
Thank you.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

RE: Battery consumption on android
The battery consuption of PPSSPP has not changed at all... It must be your Rom, as the emulator consume less than Ravensword and other Android games.

RE: Battery consumption on android
I don't believe in battery calibration apps Tongue

Anyway, as PPSSPP gets faster it will use less energy, but emulation is power intensive, there's no simple way around it.

Battery calibration is unuseful, just placebo effect:
