RE: Accidentally deleted MH3p save
i remember i had the same problem and IM NOT SURE cause i dont remember it clearly but i think i solved it as it (maybe it was phantasy star not MH)

well i just made new char with same nick and just saved within in game save and not save state then i just loaded save state and so i was able to save again with my old char on new in game save

i really cant say which game it was i was playing MH for like 1 hour in total it either could be phantasy star but well if i remember it correct the games work kinda in same way so its worth to try

Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller.

Tried that but didn't work..guess i made too many adjustments to colours skintone and stuff so it's not an exact match..Good try though~

was felt it's weird to be able to save state but not an actual save...or is it possible to rip the save out of that savestate? I'm really not good in this things~

RE: Accidentally deleted MH3p save
@darkshroud check this, pick exact version you have(there's a difference between 3rd and 3rd HD) and use the cwcheat "synchronize save" you find there. You might need to start a new game to create a save, but with that cheat it will allow you to save an older character from savestate in the new save which otherwise is impossible due to game built-in protection. The new character will be replaced with the one from savestate as long as you put it in the same slot the old one was in.

Okay I'm playing mh3pHD (sorry didnt state that), enable cheat in ppsspp, copied the code into the cheat folder for the game..

and how exactly do i sync the 2 saves now?

I now have a fresh actual save(0 hour) and a save state file (60h gameplay). how do i sync the two?

sorry I really suck at this~><

RE: Accidentally deleted MH3pHD save
Well, if you never used cheats, enable them in system settings, then in the pause menu you should have "cheats" menu, go there and enable synchronize cheat(the one without [disable] after label) ~ edit: forgot to add - load a savestate ~ and simply save in-game. All this cheat does is breaking that protection which otherwise wouldn't allow you to save over diffrent or unsynchronized save(which can be caused by loading a savestate made before last normal save).
