Made a dump from the start of that game (the one on my PSP had a patch so I wanted to be sure it was not it causing problems) and it seems to break pretty fast. No crash though.

Nope. My Note 2 external card. Can't erase or save a damn thing. And the cso file(DOA Paradise) turns into "tempmtp" something file.

Retested with 0.7.6-988-windows-x86 with rig in sig.

Still nothing but a black screen, at least the emulator doesn't hang. By which I mean that you can stop the game normally without having to Alt-F4 or use task manager.
