i'll find it soon,it does the same with peace walker

The error decoding audio started from v0.7.6-482-g96cb66a but doesn't spam console but with v0.7.6-587-g1a2bcb7 it hangs completely

It tries to decode ATRAC3+ audio with the video at the time it should only decode the video stream.

Interesting observation.

It looks like the exact same revision that broke Mortal Kombat also broke this game. With the same error being spammed too!

Whatever commit oioitff did in that build broke a number of games ability to decode audio.

I just tried it and i cant get the game to show anything. Mind to share your settings?
EDIT: damn mip mapping, it was enabled, same issue i had with F1 2009. Now we only need some sorta of menus....its all black, its hard to get ingame lol.

Now the game shows a bit of HUD! which is great, it make things easier. Also seems that performance is a bit better.

0.7.6 - 1510. At least i can read a bit of options and time counter is shown correctly. Way to go guys!

Game doesn't like 2xSSAA so turn it off.Still issues like the sky turns black when it's getting dark and comes back when it's morning(When i finished the first race with dark sky,that happened) or the image turns complete dark in rare occasions
Some texture pop ins and pauses?
