Right scrolling smooth, left scrolling not smooth

I'm new to this forum, hello all

I've been experiencing this issue with ppsspp v1.0 and v1.1 under OS X 10.11 (I don't remember experiencing this under 10.10, but it could be): when I'm on any game, when the sprites scroll right (my character is moving left on the screen) I get smooth scrolling; but when the sprites scroll left (character moving right) the scrolling is not smooth.

I've tried changing graphics settings randomly, and nothing seems to affect this. Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas?
