why my PPSSPP not output a sound? while i use for playing music i can hear it but why PPSSPP not?

what games are you playing?
many games use an encoding for music and certain sounds that isn't available as open source yet, so it's really hard to add support for them in an emulator.

Hi! I'm having a similar problem with Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary. Both games only play 1 or 2 sounds, and no music whatsoever.

I was playing for the longest time thinking PPSSPP has no sound and music support at all until in some random dungeon one of my characters scored am critical hit and I heard a sound. The early Final Fantasy games were famous for their amazing musical scores. The game just isn't the same without it.

Please, find time to support this and I promise to buy the full version and support you! I'm a man of honour!

download ppsspp from here https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/997 (look at the comments.) and install sonicstage

So you should wait untill ffmpeg support at3+.
PPSSPP recently add support of PCM, but I don't think FF series use it.
