yes, if i enable buffer rendering i will have the problem like you do
if i enable frameskip, sometimes i encounter black screen
and then if i disable frameskip i will have a really low fps when there are a bunch of ninjas appear.

I jumped from XP to Windows 8 9200 and when i've selected my characters for a mission, the Emulator crashes D:!

I tried running the program In the Adm Mode and in Compatibility with XP SP3

The developers have been trying to fix that for quite some time now, and they are working hard on it but apparently its an extremely difficult task so it may take a while

sometimes the voice audio of chars is stuttering... and it happens almost with all emulator versions
