No Sound

I've tried running Danganronpa and Idolm@ster Perfect Sun. While the games seem to run fine, I get absolutely no sound at all. I have checked to make sure my sound is enabled within the emulator, and other sounds on my computer are playing properly.

I'm using Windows 8 and PPSSPP 1.0.1.

Maybe try changing audio backend, by default it's auto which should select WASAPI on most modern windows, however some sound drivers have issues with that and you might preffer Dsound. Updating sound drivers could help with WASAPI as well if that was the problem.

Also you can try latest version, v1.0.1 is quite outdated.

That's interesting. What audio hardware do you have? I want our WASAPI backend to work on as many computers as possible as it's the fastest.
