I appreciate the slight sass with that. I did come across that post in my searches and i couldn't not get it to work. My pc and the program is detecting the controller but it will not do anything past that.

how do u connect that controller? cable or wireless?

if wireless then do you have wi fi or bluetooth dongle (idk which ps3 uses)?

cause problem seems like after u installed drivers ur controller is present for ur pc but ur pc dont receive any commands

so answer me that question from above and what you can try is go to control panel and choose game controllers (if u cant find it well there is tons of videos how to do so on youtube)

and there test if your controller responds
i think u need to click on ur controller and choose properties

after u answer me and check all that we can search WTF did go wrong

now on window 1 do you see on list ur controller?

if not then something did go wrong and you need to search for other tutorial or method to get ps3 controller to work (as i googled it there was at last 2 methods)

if yes then there where is A you should see properties u click it and window 2 appear

in window 2 if you press any button (i pressed button 1) there should be indication at B that you are pressing it is it the same for you?

RE: PS3 controller support
I Can't get any any window like that. you are Running Either Windows XP or Vista and i am running Windows 8, i am in the device properties for the controller but there isn't any window or option like that.

Okay, i rooted around after a few minutes and solved the above problem. My computer is not detecting anything from my controller. no button presses or axis movements.

You should check this tutorial out! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zv5_16G-srI
Let me know if this worked for you. If it doesn't, tell me your issue. I've had many problems with this before, but eventually found a fix.
