USB Foot switch with PPSSPP

I love & playing PSP games with PPSSPP. My machine is a MacBook Pro Retina 2012 and using PlayStation 3 Wireless game controller.

I bought an USB foot switch. It is recognized as a keyboard to my Mac.

It was recognized Key-A, B and C on PPSSPP controller config.
But the foot switch was not available for game control.

I tried to connect and use plural keyboards to my Mac. I can play games with them. PPSSPP accepts plural keyboard input.

I don't know what's wrong. Why?

Finally, I made a footswitch by myself for playing PPSSPP with my Mac. Using self-made keyboard kit and YAMAHA electric piano pedal.

This movie demonstrates PPSSPP play using game controller and footswitch.
Left movie is plaing with PlayStation 3 game controller, right one is PlayStation 3 game controller and my footswitch.
Playing the game with footswitch is more difficult but more fun, I found.
